National FFA Convention & Expo
Event description
The National FFA Convention & Expo is all about growing the next generation of leaders—and so is GFI. That’s why Jeremy Eltz, Ph.D., GFI’s Education and Workforce Development Manager, will be on-site to meet students, teachers, and ag educators all week long. A former ag science teacher and state-level CTE leader, Jeremy’s work focuses on connecting agricultural education to the fast-growing field of sustainable protein innovation.
Alongside GFI’s Liz Fathman and Sheila Voss, Jeremy will be at the GFI table ready to:
- 🔬 Explore where your career could go in food, farming, and sustainability
- 💬 Chat about your story and your connection to agriculture and food
- 🎡 Invite you to spin the wheel and grab some swag
This event is part of GFI’s mission to show how alternative proteins are reshaping the future of food—and to explore how young agriculture professionals can lead the way in feeding more people with fewer resources. Whether you’re a student, teacher, or advisor, we’d love to meet you and hear how you’re helping shape what comes next in agriculture.
And the conversation doesn’t stop in Indy: This fall, GFI and Pulse Canada are launching a webinar series featuring farmers from across the U.S. and Canada. These virtual sessions will dive into new possibilities at the intersection of pulses, protein, and sustainable ag. Stay tuned!
