Agriculture 2.0: How technological innovation can help us sustainably feed 10 billion people and save our planet
Event description
Agriculture 2.0 will examine the transformative power of intersecting advancements in AI, genetics, and biotechnology to reimagine how we grow food. These tools offer enormous potential to increase productivity while reducing emissions, protecting ecosystems, and improving food security. But meaningful transformation won’t happen on its own; smart policies, strategic investments, and thoughtful collaboration are essential.
Moderated by rising food systems voices, Shagun Sethi and Yasmine Rejeb, the conversation will feature global experts on food systems innovation:
- Arghadeep Saha, Policy Manager, The Good Food Institute India
- David Kaplan, Stern Family Professorship in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Tufts University
- Jamie Metzl, Founder and Chair, OneShared.World; author of Superconvergence
Arghadeep will speak to the role of policy in enabling innovation—from public R&D and regulatory clarity to building a strong manufacturing ecosystem for smart proteins in India and beyond.
