GFI’s 2021 Year in Review documents global progress made on alternative protein science, policy solutions, and private sector investment.
This annual report covers milestones from across the globe, including the National Science Foundation funding cultivated meat research and the world’s first fermentation summit.
In 2019, GFI cultivated government support for alternative proteins in the United States, India, Brazil, and Israel. Thanks to several generous donors, GFI’s grant program funded 14 open-access research projects.
