Event description

Join us at the nation’s first-ever student-led alternative proteins conference, hosted by the Duke and UNC chapters of the Good Food Institute’s Alt Protein Project on Friday, April 14.

The conference will be held at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and will feature keynote addresses by Ethan Brown (CEO, Beyond Meat) and T.K. Pillan (Founder, Veggie Grill and PowerPlant Partners), two panel discussions about alternative proteins’ path to mass adoption and the importance of public-private partnerships in driving growth in the space, and a business idea pitch competition.

Tickets are free for students and cost $40 for industry professionals. Tickets include access to all event programming as well as a plant-based lunch and networking reception! While the conference runs from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, attendees may join or leave at any point throughout the day.
