Simon has dedicated his career to nonprofit communications and development. He joined GFI after seven years at an environmental policy and science advocacy organization in northwest Washington State, where he led public-facing campaigns to curb fossil fuel impacts, reduce local water pollution, and conserve mature forests. He is passionate about storytelling, connecting people with ways to make a difference, and (of course) building a food system that feeds us all while protecting our climate, landscapes, and waterways.
