Mary Ellen helps deepen and grow engagement with GFI’s online audience through strategic content planning, social media management, and other digital engagement initiatives. She holds a B.A. degree in communications from DePaul University where she majored in journalism. Prior to joining GFI, Mary Ellen covered the food and beverage industry for nearly seven years for FoodNavigator-USA with a focus on the alternative proteins and sustainable food tech sectors. In addition to daily news writing and reporting, Mary Ellen has led and produced online industry events attracting key industry stakeholders and successfully growing FoodNavigator-USA’s online audience.
