Prior to becoming Senior Fellow, Curt served as GFI’s Senior Director of Policy, working to promote innovative policies at every level of government. Before joining GFI, Curt advocated for better policies relating to biodiversity, ecosystem protection, and public lands at Defenders of Wildlife and Alabama Rivers Alliance. Curt holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School where he served as a board member of the Environmental Law Society and an editor of his law journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Emory University.
