Chelsea Hammersmith has 6+ years of experience in nonprofit communications and leadership, having previously worked at Chicago’s Green City Market, Tree House Humane Society, and the Office of U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley. She also is a contributor to Edible Chicago, and has broad experience bolstering sustainable agriculture and increasing access to locally-produced food in the Midwest. Chelsea has a BA in American Studies from Northwestern University. Chelsea lives in Chicago, Illinois, and enjoys running and walking along Lake Michigan, paddleboarding, going to the farmers’ market, and hanging with her two cats.
