Carolyn joins GFI with 10+ years of experience working in communications and public relations across the nonprofit, startup, and for profit sectors. As GFI’s Media and Communications Manager, Carolyn develops and executes strategic media campaigns, and engages with journalists and other key influencers to promote GFI’s core messages and amplify the conversation around alternative proteins. Carolyn received her B.A. in French and Journalism from Emory University and her M.A. in Global Communications from The American University of Paris. Raised in a vegetarian household, Carolyn became aware of our food system’s impact on the natural world from a young age and is thrilled to work for a world-changing organization looking to build a more sustainable, humane, and equitable food system.
