Prior to joining GFI, Amylark served as Vice President of Development and Communications at the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, where she led the philanthropy and communications teams and spearheaded the organization’s government relations efforts. Amylark holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University with a dual concentration in Health Communication & Promotion and Policy & Law. During her studies, she completed a practicum with Food Tank, where she covered food system initiatives and conducted interviews with industry leaders.
