Event description

The summit’s focus goes far beyond the field of economics, encompassing the broader spheres of the social sciences, including development, politics, journalism, and international relations. The summit exists to bring together world-leading and inspiring speakers with a passionate international student delegation.

Over the last two decades, the Warwick Economics Summit has had the pleasure of hosting distinguished speakers from across the world to provide a forum that encourages the exchange of stimulating and challenging ideas from people of diverse backgrounds.

As a student-led, not-for-profit conference, the summit’s commitments lay in curating a world-class centre of discussion where delegates can challenge, and be challenged on internationally relevant topics. Through sparking conversations, it will explore the perspectives that have had a significant impact on our world while inspiring thought on the ideas that will affect our future.
