VERGE 24 is a three-day climate tech conference that is the center of gravity for professionals catalyzing transformative, profitable change through decarbonizing their operations and supply chains. It is where practitioners doing the hard, ongoing work of integrating climate solutions share their successes, setbacks and insights to smooth the path forward for all.
GFI will be hosting a partner event at 1 pm on October 31st titled “Circular bioeconomy workshop: Maximize food production while cutting costs & environmental impacts.” Ingredient manufacturers, agricultural product companies, supply chain specialists, government officials, and investors are invited to participate in this collaborative workshop. Amanda Hildebrand, Ph.D.
VICE PRESIDENT, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a doctorate in biological systems engineering from the University of California, Davis. She brings over 13 years of experience in developing and commercializing sustainable bioprocesses. She has led project and functional teams within small start ups and Fortune 500 companies, with broad knowledge across many fermentation platforms, production scales, application areas, and industries.
