Event description

Are you a postdoc in alternative proteins looking to connect, share experiences, and get advice on navigating the field? Join us on December 2nd for an interactive session where you can meet other postdocs, talk about the ups and downs of your journey, and share strategies and resources.

We’re excited to have a 20-minute talk and Q&A with Dr. Ning Xiang, a newly-minted Assistant Professor in the Department of Ag, Food, and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta. Dr. Xiang will offer insights from her recent postdoctoral experience, as well as advice on advancing research, navigating academia, and building a career in this evolving space. In addition to Dr. Xiang’s talk, we’ll have group discussions and activities focused on common challenges that postdoctoral researchers face, sharing resources to support your career journey, and building connections with fellow researchers.

Whether you’re looking for advice, support, or just want to meet others in the same career stage, this event is a chance to connect and learn together. We’d love to have you attend! Register here.
