The UC Chile Alt Protein Project unites researchers, students and enthusiasts at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC Chile) to spearhead advancements in alternative protein technologies.

Situated in Chile’s biotech hub, our project aims to drive scientific discourse, foster industry partnerships, and promote education of alternative proteins. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement, we strive to catalyze innovation for a more sustainable and inclusive food system.
