About

The UADE Alt Protein Project is a student-led initiative formally established to transform Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) into a strategic engine for alternative protein education, research, and innovation. Driven by a multidisciplinary team bridging food engineering, biotechnology, and strategic communication, our chapter focuses on accelerating the development of plant-based products, cultivated meat, and precision fermentation. Our core objective is to build a vibrant community of practice that bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world industrial application.

Our university offers an ideal ecosystem due to its advanced laboratory infrastructure and strong focus on food technology and applied sciences. We aim to leverage this local context by mapping the institutional landscape, engaging with faculty members, and establishing partnerships with regional industry players to foster internship opportunities and collaborative open-access research.

Aligned with the global vision of The Good Food Institute, we operate under strict principles of scientific evidence, inclusivity, and counterfactual impact. We are fully committed to creating a sustainable, secure, and just food system by inspiring the next generation of scientists, innovators, and policy-makers to solve the most pressing commercial and technical bottlenecks in the alternative protein landscape.
