The Sherbrooke Alt Protein Project is a student initiative focusing on reducing the environmental impact of the food we eat. Whether it be by generating open access research or by creating alternative protein classes to train the workforce of tomorrow, our group aims to facilitate expansion of the field in Quebec. We are most interested in cultivated meat, but any project regarding alternative proteins will get our full support. The alternative protein industry is not well known nor well established in our region, therefore our main objective is to raise as much awareness as possible. Our small team is composed of highly motivated individuals who are not afraid of a good challenge.
