The Oxford Alt Protein Project is not currently active, but the previous leaders laid a great foundation for building the University of Oxford into an engine of alternative protein education, research, and innovation. As one of the world’s top research universities, the University of Oxford is home to numerous ground-breaking innovations and policy-makers. The Oxford Alt Protein Project was founded to connect Oxford’s research expertise with ambitious young minds, propelling innovation, research, and education of alternative proteins within the community. Through seminars and discussions with industry experts and NGOs, we aim to stimulate discussions and interest from researchers, administrators, and students, establishing Oxford as one of the centres for alternative proteins.
