The BioSense Alt Protein Project is not currently active, but the previous leaders laid a great foundation for building the University of Novi Sad into an engine of alternative protein education, research, and innovation. The BioSense Alt Protein Project strives to unite students and researchers who desire to create a sustainable and ethical alternative food system. We believe in alternative proteins as a way to address global food insecurity, change the way people think about healthy diets, and advance technology that can be used in outer space.
We focus on three main objectives:
- Stimulate open-access research that enables innovation in the alternative protein field.
- Organize events that generate awareness and excitement, propel innovation, and cultivate new ideas around alternative proteins.
- Build a fun, fulfilling, and inclusive community for students and researchers interested in alternative proteins.
