Created with the support of the Good Food Institute, The Berlin Alt Protein Project strives to support the development of a healthy, sustainable and fair food system by creating a vibrant and robust community for alternative protein promotion, research and innovation at Berlin universities. Students can explore the field of alternative protein and other opportunities associated with plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-derived meat, eggs, and dairy; the main focus lays on cellular agriculture. The Berlin Alt Protein Project is a solution-oriented group that provides members with a welcoming, inclusive space in which to discover how their interests and skills intersect with the needs of the alternative protein industry, to share, promote and cooperate on relevant research.
