DESCRIPTION:Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital – 2026 Preview EventPast\n\n\n\n\nFor the second year in a row\, GFI is teaming up with the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital—this time for their exclusive 2026 Preview Event! \n\n\n\n	Share this page on Bluesky\n \n	Share on Bluesky\n\n\n	Share this page on Threads\n \n	Share on Threads\n\n\n	Share this page on Twitter\n	\n	Share on X\n\n\n	Share this page on LinkedIn\n	\n	Share on LinkedIn\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent description\n\n\n\nWe’re thrilled to participate in the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital—the world’s premier showcase of environmentally themed films. Each year\, DCEFF brings together filmmakers\, scientists\, policymakers\, and advocates to explore the planet’s most pressing challenges through the lens of film. The 2026 lineup features documentaries\, shorts\, and feature films on biodiversity\, climate justice\, ocean conservation\, and more. \n\n\n\nThis February\, for the first time\, GFI will join DCEFF’s Preview Event—a special screening of standout selections from this year’s festival\, hosted at Georgetown University. The event will feature trailers\, early clips\, and an engaging tabling session with GFI and other mission-aligned organizations. \n\n\n\nRepresenting GFI will be Tina Rodousakis\, Associate Director of Policy Engagement\, alongside members of our DC-based team. They’ll share how alternative proteins intersect with climate action and food system sustainability—and connect with attendees from government\, academia\, and the broader environmental community. \n\n\n\nThank you to the DCEFF team for the warm welcome back. We’re excited to be part of another powerful year of storytelling and systems change. \n\n\n\n\n\nEvent location\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGFI speaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTina Rodousakis \n\n\n\nASSOCIATE DIRECTOR\, POLICY ENGAGEMENTTina and her team drive implementation of GFI’s public policy and government relations initiatives through effective coalition building\, advocacy content creation\, legislative targeting\, and stakeholder engagement.
