  • Comfort with working remotely and in a rapidly growing and evolving organization.
  • Strong support for GFI’s philosophy and mission; demonstrated interest in public health, environmentalism, animal protection, or hunger relief.

Technical competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly in writing and in oral presentations to a range of audiences.
  • Organizational and execution skills: getting things done.
  • Excellent data literacy and analytical skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, liberal arts, environmental studies, public health, food systems, political science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years’ professional experience in a related field.
  • A proven track record of working with data and report writing, with an inherent sense of curiosity and a scientific approach to information at hand.
  • Experience in managing digital communities (like LinkedIn, Slack) would be preferable.

Impact focussed experience is highly preferred. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of people and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in these areas.
