Alternative protein companies may contract with National Labs to perform research\, test scale-up processes\, access unique equipment\, or conduct techno economic or life cycle analyses. Following the release of GFI’s Guide to working with the National Laboratories\, former Capital Planning and Strategic Programs Administrator at the National Laboratory of the Rockies Emily Fenwick will share an overview and best practices for working with the National Laboratories. \n\n\n\nTopics will include: \n\n\n\n\nAn overview of the National Labs network\n\n\n\nLab capabilities relevant to alternative protein companies and researchers\n\n\n\nWays alternative protein companies can work with the National Labs\n\n\n\nBest practices for successful engagement\n\n\n\nCase studies\n\n\n\nQ&A\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet the speaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmily Fenwick\n\n\n\nCONTRACTOR\, GOOD FOOD INSTITUTEFORMER CAPITAL PLANNING AND STRATEGIC PROGRAMS ADMINISTRATOR\, NATIONAL LABORATORY OF THE ROCKIES \n\n\n\nEmily Fenwick is a contractor with the Good Food Institute and a former Capital Planning and Strategic Programs Administrator at the National Laboratory of the Rockies. During her time at the Lab\, she worked on strategic initiatives and federally funded research investments\, supporting partnerships between government\, industry\, and research teams.
