This unique industry-academic hybrid role bridges her research interests in nutritional immunology and alternative protein development. Her research specializes in the biofunctionality of a high-value milk protein called lactoferrin\, helping to achieve the first US FDA approval for TurtleTree’s fermentation-derived lactoferrin.
