SUMMARY:Networking for alternative protein scientists
DESCRIPTION:Build your network: 1:1 networking for alternative protein scientists [morning]Past\n\n\n\n\nJoin The Good Food Institute’s virtual networking sessions to ignite collaborations and synergies that will accelerate alternative protein science. \n\n\n\n	Share this page on Facebook\n	\n	Share on Facebook\n\n\n	Share this page on Twitter\n	\n	Share on X\n\n\n	Share this page on LinkedIn\n	\n	Share on LinkedIn\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent description\n\n\n\nCalling all scientists! Please join us for virtual networking sessions designed to facilitate collaboration and scientific innovation. To accommodate different time zones\, we’re hosting two separate events. Sign up for one (or both!) using the links below.  \n\n\n\nSession 1\, November 8th at 11 am EST. Register here.Session 2\, November 8th at 8 pm EST. Register here.\n\n\n\nThe event will start with brief remarks from GFI’s Director of Science and Technology\, Matt Hotze\, Ph.D.\, with networking sessions to follow. We’ll then move to topic-focused breakout rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other scientists as well as GFI’s subject matter experts. During the final half of the event\, we’ll move to 1:1 networking sessions. You’ll be able to request direct meetings with the people you met in the breakout rooms\, or you can be paired randomly with other attendees. \n\n\n\nEach event will last for 90 minutes\, but you are free to come and go as you please. These events are open to scientists at any level who are interested in alternative proteins\, so please share this invitation with your colleagues! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nUpcoming events\n\n\n\nView all events\n\n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n November 12\, 2026\n \n Virtual Event\n \n \n \n The Science of Alt Protein: Genome-scale modeling of porcine cell metabolism\n \n \n \n Explore how a GFI-funded genome-scale metabolic model can reveal porcine cell nutrient requirements and inform lower-cost culture media for cultivated…
