Why
was Reaching the Heart of Your Teen written? [18]
Reaching the Heart of Your Teen was written with the
firm conviction that young parents are better served
by encouragement instead of discouragement. We want parents
today to have every reason to hope for and experience
strong, positive, healthy and lasting relationships with
their teens. We do not write with an unsympathetic attitude
toward those who may have struggled with their teenage
kids, but our message is very positive, upbeat, exciting
and comes with plenty of encouragement.
Are there any pre-requisites for taking the Reaching
the Heart of Your Teen?
It is not necessary that a parent have taken any other
GFI classes to enter into the RHYT class. We do acknowledge
that there are parents who will come to the class whose
struggle with their Teen is getting them to turn the
lights out when they leave a room to those who are staying
out all night and not needing any lights to be left on
for them and everything in between. So all we ask are
parents who are coming with teachable hearts and ready
to start over and make a difference in their home.
